Danny was able to visit Plainfield for a few days so we were all able to go out to eat one night. It was really great being all together!

We had a few people over for dinner this past weekend so our house is looking nice and festive! Johnny helped us find the cedar tree and cut it down from a friend’s property.
Danny and I just made a HUGE purchase at an awesome thrift store in Tuscaloosa… a full 12 book Britannica Jr. Encyclopedia set for $3.00. That’s what Danny is reading so intently. The books are really great. I will scan some of the images soon.
I went as The Declaration of Independence!!! It was quite a hit!
I made this dress out of muslin, and then hand lettered the title and hand wrote the declaration. It took me a little while… 
These are just the process photos, and then of course the final product in use. More (professional/danny) photos to follow…
I mean, really. Does it get much better than that for middle of October? I don’t think so!
